How to play ShelfRush
ShelfRush is a short browser game about routing convenience-store cases to the right lane before the next wave lands. Every round has a fixed sequence, but the timer changes how calm or frantic it feels.
The four shelf lanes
- Snack Wall: bars, chips, candy, and checkout impulse stock.
- Cooler: wraps, yogurt, drinks, and anything that should stay cold.
- Fragile Top: glass bottles, crushable bakery, and brittle items.
- Back Stock: dry bulk refill, cleaning cartons, and household reserve.
Controls
- Click the shelf lane button you want.
- Keyboard shortcuts work too: 1 snack, 2 cooler, 3 fragile, 4 back stock.
- If the timer expires, the case counts as a miss and the next one arrives immediately.
Scoring
- Correct route: +14 points.
- Wrong shelf: −6 points.
- Missed timer slot: −8 points.
- The summary classifies your round as Shelf steady, Rush controlled, or Aisle jam.
What a good run looks like
A strong run keeps cold items cold, fragile cases protected, and impulse snacks moving quickly. The game is intentionally readable: the challenge is not hidden randomness, it is making fast clean calls under pressure.
